Information you give us
If you submit the quote request form, we collect the information you enter into it:
- Your first and last name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- The project address or city
- The property type, service needed and approximate project timing
- Any description of the project you choose to provide
- Your confirmation that we may contact you about the request
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, arrange an assessment and provide a quote. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider processes standard technical information as part of serving the site — such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested — for security, reliability and abuse prevention.
This website does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies. If analytics are added later, this policy will be updated to describe them before they are enabled.
Spam protection
The quote form uses basic anti-spam measures, including a hidden field that automated submissions tend to complete and a check on how quickly the form was submitted. If reCAPTCHA is enabled on the form, Google’s terms and privacy policy will apply to that processing.
How we store and share information
Quote requests are delivered to our business email address using a form-forwarding service, FormSubmit, which passes the details you submit on to that inbox. We share personal information with third parties only where it is necessary to operate the website or respond to your enquiry — our hosting provider and that form-forwarding service — or where we are required to by law. We do not sell it to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as it is needed to respond to your request and to maintain records of quotes and work carried out, and then for as long as required for legitimate business or legal purposes.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy legislation you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, or ask us to stop contacting you. Contact us at info@northstarinsulation.ca or 416-318-4202 and we will respond.

In plain terms
The only personal information this site collects is what you type into the quote form on our contact page — your name, your contact details, and whatever you tell us about the property. Nothing else on the site asks for personal data: the pages describing our services, the areas we cover and the guides we publish can all be read without giving us anything.
We use what you send to prepare a quote and to arrange an assessment, and for nothing else. The form itself is delivered to that inbox by a forwarding service, FormSubmit, which is the only third party your details pass through. There is no shop on this site, no account to create, and no newsletter to be added to. If you would rather not use a form at all, our contact details are published in full and a phone call leaves no record here whatsoever.
This site is a marketing site and nothing more. It does not profile you, it does not follow you between pages to work out which of the four groups we work for you belong to, and it does not treat reading the page about houses rather than the one about commercial buildings as information about you. Whether you are browsing from Mississauga or from anywhere else, the pages you see are the same.
